When Bangladesh's economic and social situation is considered, it is seen that even now, about 80% of the country's population is dependent on various professions in the agricultural and rural sectors, such as: farmers, laborers, weavers, fishermen, blacksmiths, potters, small and cottage industries, handicrafts, and various types of small businesses like grocery shops, tailors, pharmacists, vegetable vendors, salons, tea shops, etc.

বাংলাদেশের অর্থনৈতিক, সামাজিক অবস্থা বিবেচনা করলে দেখা যায় এখনও দেশের শতকরা ৮০% ভাগ মানুষ কৃষি ও গ্রামভিত্তিক বিভিন্ন পেশায় যেমন: কৃষক, শ্রমিক, তাঁতী, মৎষ চাষি, কামার, কুমার, জেলে ও বিভিন্ন ধরনের ক্ষুদ্র ও কুটির শিল্প, হস্ত শিল্প এবং বিভিন্ন ধরনের একমালিকানা ব্যবসায় যেমন: মুদি দোকান, দর্জি দোকান, ঔষধের দোকান, সবজি বিক্রির দোকান, সেলুন, চা বিক্রির দোকান ইত্যাদির উপর নির্ভর করে জীবিকা নির্বাহ করছে।

A portion of Bangladesh's population resides below the poverty line. Various segments of society, such as farmers, laborers, small business owners, artisans, weavers, etc., face numerous challenges and hardships.

বাংলাদেশের একটি অংশ দারিদ্র সীমার নিচে বসবাস করে। এদেশের কৃষক শ্রমিক, ক্ষুদ্র পুঁজির মালিক, কারিগর, জেলে, তাঁতি প্রভৃতি শ্রেণির লোক নানা সমস্যায় জর্জরিত।

The slogan "Unity Empowers, Unity Liberates" can significantly contribute to the advancement of the nation through cooperative societies. Through this mechanism, people from various walks of life can come together as one, forming a cycle of mutual support.

‘সমবায়ই শক্তি সমবায়ই মুক্তি’ স্লোগান সামনে রেখে দেশের উন্নতিতে সমবায় সমিতি ব্যাপকভাবে অবদান রাখতে পারে। এর মাধ্যমে বিভিন্ন শ্রেণীর মানুষ এক হয়ে একটি চক্রে আবদ্ধ হতে পারে।
